The Red Sox will play two split squad games today, first against the BC Eagles at 1:05PM, then a 7:05PM game against the Minnesota Twins - complete with our first taste of Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy via NESN.

Here are the lineups:

vs Boston College:

Julio Lugo, SS
Rocco Baldelli, LF
David Ortiz, DH
JD Drew, RF
Chris Carter, 1B
George Kottaras, C
Jonathan Van Every, CF
Nick Green, 2B
Angel Chavez, 3B

Scheduled Pitchers: Josh Beckett, Clay Buchholz, Kris Johnson, Junichi Tazawa, Felix Doubront and Daniel Bard

Bottom Line Notes: It's going to be fun to see Rocco in action - I hope for good things, but it's early ... Chris Carter could earn some time in the bigs with a string spring - Personally I'd like to see him fill in for Kotsay while Wilkerson proves he's not the .230 hitter he's been for the past few years ... Kottara backed out of the WBC to be in camp - He and Josh Bard are the top two candidates for the backup catcher job, so it will be fun to see who steps up ... Chavez is a career minor leaguer, but he's hit in above .290 the past two seasons in AAA - Lowrie and Lugo give us plenty of depth in the infield, but Chavez is a solid short-term option if needed ... Lastly, I'm excited to see "Tazawa-bunga!" - I think this kid is going to be good.

vs Minnesota Twins

Jacoby Ellsbury, CF
Dustin Pedroia, 2B
Kevin Youkilis, 1B
Jason Bay, LF
Brad Wilkerson, RF
Jed Lowrie, SS
Jeff Bailey, DH
Josh Bard, C
Gil Velazquez, 3B

Scheduled Pitchers: Tim Wakefield, Justin Masterson, Manny Delcarmen, Javier Lopez, Ramon Ramirez, Billy Traber and Dustin Richardson

Bottom Line Notes: We know what to expect from most of these guys. I'll be watching Bailey while he fights for a bench spot with Wilkerson and Carter ... Bard will be catching Wakefield again for the first time since his disasterous attempts in 2006 ... and Ramon Ramirez will be fun to watch ... I don't know much about Traber or Richardson, so click the links and study up.

Noteable absentees: Jason Varitek (he'll play Thursday), Lars Anderson
