he-man.jpgAfter the beat down the Rays gave us last night, I'm really hoping Justin Masterson can harness his inner He-man and vanquish the evil Rays tonight.

Mastey is 2-0 on the season with a 2.70 ERA and 14 Ks. Since moving into the roation, he's been a control freak - walking just 3 batters... 4 on the season. We'll need some of that action tonight with the Rays feeling confident at the plate right now...

The Rays will be countering with the struggling Andy Sonnanstine. After winning 13 games in 2008, "Sonny" is 0-3 on the young season with a 7.78 ERA. He doesn't walk many, but he doesn't miss many bats either, and that has been his problem this season - 28 hits in 19.2 innings and a 4.8 IP/GS average.

Bottom Line: The Rays play well at home and the Sox have struggled at The Trop for over a year now... the pitching match-up is in our favor, so it's time to make up yesterday with a big win tonight.
