The votes are in and Dustin Pedroia destroyed Chase Utley in a battle bewteen two of the best second baseman in the game. The map shows that Pedey may have earned a few extra votes simply because this is a Red Sox blog... but most of the votes came from the North East, so Phillie fans had their chance to make this more of a battle...
We tallied 78 total votes but only six comments, so I think it's worth reminding everyone that you have to leave a comment if you want a shot at a FREE T-SHIRT.
You don't have to write a novel... one sentence is all it takes. The idea here is to spark up some dialogue, so hopefully this week we'll see more chatter in the comments section.
This week's random winner of a FREE Bottom Line t-shirt is SHANE. Like most of the voters, SHANE gave Pedroia the edge due to his youth and work ethic. Pedey may never hit 30 home runs, but he's the kind of player you can build your team around - a Derek Jeter type player as SHANE put it.
