Last week we asked you guys how much you were willing to pay Jason Bay to stay in Boston (see sidebar).
The results are in and 28% of Bottom Line readers refused to pay Jason Bay more than the 4-year, $60M deal Bay already rejected earlier this year.
24% of readers were willing to go to $80M for 4 years, but most of you were unwilling to give Bay a 5-year contract.
Bottom Line: It will be interesting to see if Bay is offered more than the 4 X $15M he turned down... and if he is, will the Red Sox be willing to match that offer?
