I started writing this blog three years ago (2007) and I was actually late to the party when you consider how long blogs like Firebrand of the AL (2003) and Surviving Grady (2004) have been in the game.

Since then, the Internet has changed quite a bit and bloggers like myself are working hard to keep up. With Twitter and Facebook taking the web by storm, I get the sense that blogs aren't as a big a part of the morning ritual as the once were. I mean, with everyone and their grandmother posting game updates on their walls and tweeting how scary Youk's beard looks in person from their seats at Fenway... who's really ignoring work for an hour each morning to read the latest posts on their favorite blog anymore?

I know a few of you stick to tradition like me, because like any good blogger, I have one of those fancy pageview tracker robots that tells me people read my blog (it also makes a killer grilled cheese sandwich, but I digress), but I'm curious to hear what your favorite Red Sox blogs are. Whose still bringing the fresh content you want? Who's adapting to this new age of instant access to ensure you check in with them before you finish your donut? And who's blogs are you going to read no matter what, because - well let's face it - you're addicted.

Many of us were quick to create Facebook and Twitter accounts, but it's not all about being the first to report that David Ortiz borrowed Jason Giambi's golden thong yesterday and instantly broke out of his slump with his first ding dong of 2010...

Wait? Did I just break this story...?

Anyway... Extra Bases (Globe) and Full Count (WEEI) bring us the inside scoops that only a press pass can get, but some people enjoy the sarcastic humor on SG. Some fans like starting at little dots and debating Pitch FX stats like the guys at FBAL. Others need the 24/7 coverage that Fenway West and Over the Monster have perfected over the years. And still others want a the unique mix of pop culture, hot chicks and sports news that you can only find at Barstool Sports.

Whatever tickles your fancy, I'm hoping this poll will shed some light on what makes a blog worth reading and maybe all of us bloggers can learn a few things before they develop the technology to beam all the latest news right into our brains via satellite and the web becomes obsolete.

I've listed a bunch of Red Sox blogs that I think are the bees knees in the POLL section in the upper right corner. That's where you can cast your votes (pick as many as you like).  But if I missed one of your favorite Sox blogs or you have some thoughts on what makes a good Red Sox blog, please jot them down in the comments section.

Just for fun, I'll link the blogs below as well so you can check 'em out for yourself:
