The readers have spoken and they predict Jon Lester will be our ace in 2010.
While I agree that Lester's 2009 campaign, 15-8, with a team best 3.41 ERA and 225 Ks, indicates that he could be ready for a career year in 2010, but I find it interesting that Josh Beckett didn't get a few more votes.
I wonder if the "Even-Year Curse" is playing a factor here or if most of you guys just think Lester is going to be unstoppable this season...
It also appears that some of you expect great things from Clay Buchholz this year... While I am excited to see what Buchhy can do with 30 starts, my gut tells me that we'll be in big trouble if Buchholz is our ace in 2010 with the rotation we have.
