I'll be in NYC for the next few days and I'm not likely to have much time in front on the computer, so things will be quiet here at The Bottom Line.

The Red Sox will start a 4-game set in Cleveland tonight and I expect them to come home for the weekend with at least three win in their pockets. The Tribe haven't been Oriole bad, but they own the second worst record in the league at 21-34, a 27th ranked team ERA at 4.84 and a pretty weak lineup: .247 BA (24th), 222 runs (26th).

That said, the Sox will feature Matsuzaka nd Wakefield in the first two games, with Lester and Buchholz likely to start the other two. Matsuzaka has been completely unpredictable all season, so who knows what we'll see tonight. And as much as I love Tim Wakefield, his last two starts have me wondering if Casey Kelly is ready for a call up...

The AL East is a 4-team race and the Sox coughed up a game yesterday and fell to 4.5 games back. A split in Cleveland is just plain unacceptable. Get it done boys...

You may see me check in on Facebook or Twitter during the week, but I'll be back in full force on Friday.

Go Sox!
