Okay, okay...

I may be overreacting here, but last night's loss to the Rox was heartbreaking.

Lackey pitched as ugly as he looks - again - but used more of his mouth-breathing magic to find himself in line for a win after six innings.

The Sox managed to tag Ubaldo for 6 runs and had him on the bench after 5 2/3 innings. When you beat up on the ace of the major leagues, you have to win that game.

I'm not sure what happened with Paps, but homers by Ian Stewart (.131 in June) and Jason Giambi (.197 on the season) is unacceptable. Lefties are now hitting Papelbon at a .288 clip.

Adding insult to injury, Daniel Bard pitched a scoreless 1 1/3 innings before Paps coughed up those Mile High Homers and the Sox lost theior first series since early May.

Anybody looking for a new closer...? We could use some help in the outfield...
