Before the 2010 baseball season began, we asked you guys to make your predictions for the expected starting roster. It's time to look back and see who knew their 2010 Red Sox the best.

Jon Lester (read the original Projection post here)
It shouldn't be surprising that Jon Lester ghas become the ace of this staff. Since 2008, he's posted 30+ starts, 200+ innings, 15+ wins and an ERA in the mid-to-low 3.00s with regularity.
That's why it was fairly easy to project his 2010 stats...
I think I did okay with my picks, but as you can see below, so did a number of other players. Free decals from SoxStickers.com will be awarded to athosgec2, mjcartwright13 and PFC51.
I'm looking forward to seeing Lester dominate for years to come. Just for fun here's how Lester compares to the best starters in the AL over the past three years:
Lester: 50-23, 3.29 ERA, 602 Ks - Never lost more than 9 games
Halladay: 58-31, 2.67, 633 - Two 20-win season, '10 with PHI
Verlander: 48-35. 3.88, 651 - Most Ks in the group, despite bad 2008
Sabathia: 57-25, 3.09, 645 - 11-2, 1.65, 128 in 11 starts with MIL in '08
C. Lee: 48-25, 2.99, 536 - Played for 4 different teams...
F. Hernandez - 41-28, 2.74, 624 - Probably would have 60 wins if not in SEA
Great job everyone!
